How To Heal Injury After Traumatic Events
Self Care Medicine
If you or someone you know was battered or injured...
You can do this for any injury. But I emphasize battery because it’s happened in our community recently. We deserve to know how to heal after traumatic events, without relying on often incompetent western medicinal facilities.

Slice thin potato disks and place on face or wherever injury and swelling is, to pull heat and inflammation and rapidly heal injury.
Take Epsom salt bath to deal w body pain. Can also tea cedar and pour into bath to spiritually and emotionally doctor self. Remember to pray over the tea and tell it what you or they need in their healing before pointing into bath.
If you can, get to someone who does acudetox to calm the relative down and lessen the residual trauma. I know two people so hit me up if you need help w that. (Ideally text me if you can cuz my messenger isn’t super accessible for me.)
Take Kava tincture or other tinctures recommended to calm down the nervous system.
Take arnica homeopathic supplement to increase internal healing. You can also tea chamomile, mint, Passion flower, or holy basil. Can get these tinctures at health food store or online; the teas you can get at herbal stores, grow your own, or online.
Tea and drink comfrey to rapidly increase internal healing. (Never boil, it’ll kill the medicine!) There’s been some claims that this medicine over time can damage the liver, based on a controlled test on mice who received unbelievably high amounts of comfrey, that is difficult to replicate at that level for human intake. My elders have drank it all their life w no issue. Comfrey is MAGIC in the way it rapidly heals. It can also be soaked in boiling water that’s been turned off and once slimey, strain out the plant and make compress on skin. Or soak clothes or wraps in the comfrey tea and put directly on skin. If there are open wounds, add an additional plant medicine like sage or yarrow to prevent and kill infection; this is important because comfrey heals so quickly, it can heal over an infection. Sage and yarrow are POWERFUL anti-bacterials. You can get comfrey, yarrow, sage at herb stores stores or amazon online, if you don’t grow you’re own. Yarrow grows in the mountains and is amazing at also stopping bleeding.
